Healing architecture
Over the past decades, there has been a growing interest in how the environment affects our well-being. Hospitals, care homes and other treatment facilities are increasingly using interior design as an active factor to help patients' health and well-being.
Several studies have shown how, among other things, well-chosen motifs and art on the walls can affect people's psychological and physiological state. Architectural techniques such as sound, light, color and art play a decisive role in healing architecture and, ultimately, our collective well-being.
