Sustainability

At Silent Art, sustainability is a factor in line with both function and aesthetics. This means that our pictures are well thought out from frame to canvas in relation to both functionality, design and not least the environment, something we are proud of and would like to use space to unfold.

More than just a frame

The strong frame, which is necessary in relation to the acoustics and the suspension itself, is produced in 75% recycled aluminium . Discreet plastic corners, produced in 75% recyclable plastic , take care of your canvas.
SilentArt's iconic frames are assembled with compressed air and there are therefore no screws in the joints. Finally, the overall look is softened by the fact that the frame floats out from the wall, giving a lighter and more elegant look to your sound-absorbing works of art.

OEKO-TEX approved acoustics

The acoustic panels are OEKO-TEX approved, and are produced in Europe from 68% recycled polyester plastic . Unfortunately, it is not possible to produce exclusively in recycled material, as a small amount of new fibers are needed to avoid chemicals and binders in production.

Clean air & less noise

By fusing acoustic panels together without the use of chemicals, we avoid that the panel itself hangs and emits dangerous particles or sprinkles if it gets a scratch. In other words, our OEKO-TEX approved acoustic panels are so elaborate that you can wear them against your skin.

Canvas in 100% recycled material

Our canvases are easily replaceable textile canvases, where the motifs are printed with a pioneering graphic print technology that lasts year after year. All our canvases are produced from 62% SEAQUAL® yarn and 38% recycled polyester , the result is canvases produced from 100% recycled material.

The canvases are mounted ultra easily on the frames using a small rubber gasket that runs all the way along the canvas. The result is vivid images in minimalistic floating frames that can easily and quickly change expressions.
