Note the rubber edges on the back of the canvas - these are the ones that must hold your canvas in the frame.

Place the frame with the absorbent on a flat surface and place the canvas loosely over the frame so that the motif faces the right way.

The rubber edge along the edge of the canvas is now inserted into the frame, between the two pieces of aluminum.

Press the edge down all the way around and finish by smoothing your canvas completely with the flat of your hand.
